About the Walnut Grove Campus

North Langley Community Church is one church with two locations.  The Walnut Grove campus is where the majority of our mid-week programming happens and where our offices are located.  On Sunday mornings we host two services, one at 9:00AM and the other at 11:00AM.

In both services on Sunday mornings we have our NLCC Kids program available. NLCC Kids has separate programming for NLCC Kids Jr, including Nursery (birth - age 2) and ages 2+ - 4+, and Kindergarten - Grade 5 that is age specific.  Our Sunday mornings Middle School and High School programs happen during the 11:00AM gathering.

When do I Need to Get There?

It's a good idea to arrive about 10 minutes early, particularly if you have children. We use a check-in system for our kids program, and, after a quick registration with one of our volunteers, your kids will be ready for their program. Complimentary coffee and tea are available in the foyer when you arrive.

Where do I Park?

There are three parking areas and we have visitor and handicap parking spaces set aside near the main entrance at the back (north side) of the building. The 9:00AM service is often the busiest and the visitor parking usually fills up.

What Should I Wear?

You're invited to come as you are. We want you to feel comfortable in what you're wearing. Our members and attendees generally tend to dress casual. We do ask that you be respectful though and refrain from the use of scents.

NLCC Kids Jr // Nursery (Birth - Age 2)

Babies and toddlers (born 2016 & 2017) go directly to the Nursery, which opens 10 minutes before each service starts. Parents can confidently leave their little one with warm and friendly caregivers who have been thoroughly screened. A pager is provided to alert parents if they are needed.

NLCC Kids Jr // Ages 2+ - 4+

Our preschool-aged children's program is called NLCC Kids Jr, where age groups are identified by colours. We ask that parents of our NLCC Kids Jr bring their children directly to their classrooms in the basement. NLCC Kids Jr enjoy a large group Bible story time, and the application activities are done in their small group classes. Pagers are available for parents upon request at the registration counter.

  • YELLOW class—born in 2014
  • BLUE class—born in 2013

Safety and security are very important at NLCC, so all children must be checked in and receive a nametag with a security ID that is given to the parents. The ID must be presented when the child is collected from the classroom. Children must be picked up by a parent, or caregiver over the age of 16, using the unique NLCC security ID tag each Sunday. Children will not be dismissed unaccompanied. Please follow the signs and maps to find your child’s classroom.

NLCC Kids K-5 // Kindergarten-Grade 5

The older kids are grouped with kids their age and sometimes by gender, depending on class sizes. Kids are checked in and taken directly to their classes where they are warmly welcomed by a leader. Kids meet for Large Group time where they worship through music and offering, and dig into God’s Word through Bible story and lesson for the week. Lesson application is done through games, crafts, and lively discussion in Small Groups.
