In this sermon, we explore Jesus’ message to the church in Pergamum, a faithful community living in a place of intense deception, where pressure to compromise—especially sexually—came not from open persecution but from subtle temptation within. The sermon shows how Revelation is an “unveiling,” exposing Satan’s strategy of inner compromise, and calls the church to repentance by trusting Jesus’ truth rather than the lies that promise fulfillment apart from God’s design for marriage and sexuality. In closing, Jesus offers hope, promising forgiveness, a new identity, and deep satisfaction through Himself—the true bread of life—to all who turn back to Him and remain faithful.
