I live in Langley with my wife Shawna and our 3 children: Elijah, Juliet and Andrew. I am a nurse at Surrey Memorial Hospital.
My wife and I started attending NLCC in 2008, and we were able to join a life group in 2011. We became members in 2012. I have been able to work with various ministries and have seen God at work through each of them. I currently serve in the children's ministry and as a life group leader.
What excites you about the possibility of serving in this capacity?
I love NLCC. I think that it is an amazing collection of people who are earnestly seeking Christ in order to bring about God's kingdom in our world. I am excited about the prospect of serving as an elder because I believe that the Church is God-designed, and He changes lives in community - which brings Him glory. I want everyone to know about Jesus and grow into Jesus. I personally have experienced how amazing life can be with Jesus and I want to be part of the work God is doing through NLCC.
