We are the custodians of NLCC. That means that we clean up all the mess the church makes. But that is a joy for us, as mess means that the church is alive and vibrant. And we love that!
We are from Brazil. Rodrigo was a pastor of a Mennonite Brethren Church and Mari was a Kindergarten teacher. We came to Canada to study and learn from your culture. A missionary from Brazil connected us with Scott and Nikki White, and... you bet! They connected us with almost all the church. We love being part of this family!
We are a family of five, with 3 boys. As we love kids, and our kids love having friends, you can easily think we are a family of 7, 8, 9...Our poor small Corolla with 5 seats! We live in the Willoughby area and attend the Walnut Grove Campus.
We love: one another; playing and educating our kids; having friends (there is a large room in our hearts for them!); Brazilian popular music; Brazilian food (rice and beans, "pão de queijo" and...real barbecue. Sorry, but we miss our "churrasco").
And we would love to know as many places as we could in our Beautiful British Columbia, and are always looking for the next adventure!
