Pan De Vida

NLCC has been engaged with Pan de Vida in a church-to-church partnership since it was first planted in 2011. Our partnership aims at the mutual exchange of Biblical, cultural, and ministerial insights as we equip, encourage and collaborate with one another in our respective missional contexts. Along with seven other Mexican churches, Pan de Vida is a part of the MB denomination in Mexico (called ICPM), in which pastor Carlos Ortega has served as president since 2018.

Project: 2023 NLCC and Pan de Vida alternate alternating locale for collaborative mission, one year sending NLCC teams to Mexico*, and the next year bringing Pan de Vida teams to Canada to serve at NLCC’s summer MOVE Camp outreach. NLCC has also been partnering with Pan de Vida in building a new church venue in a new locale, both to accommodate the growing congregation as well to establish a church presence in a low-income community in need of a holistic expression of the Gospel.

*Recent violence in Mexico has resulted in ongoing regional restrictions for travel, which include a Level III advisory that, unfortunately, prevents Canadians from being insured while in Colima.
