Luke 4:1-13

In this sermon, we explore the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness.  He was tempted by the devil with instant pleasure, power, and praise. But Jesus understood that any progress in his life without the presence of his Father would be futile, so he clung to God's truth and Presence.  We also take a deep look at the moral failures of Christian men in Christian leadership positions, and we see that Jesus in Luke 4 points us to a better way of life and freedom from slavery to sin.
