1 Corinthians 14

Why does Paul silence women in the church at Corinth?  Why does he say it is a ‘disgrace’ for a woman to speak in the church?  As we dive into this complicated passage we discovered that the truth in 1 Corinthians 14 has much more to do with women’s access to education than it does to authority in the church. The good news that Jesus was alive was placed first on the lips of women- so women must not be silent!
