All volunteers 16 and over interacting with children under the age of 18 are required to complete a Criminal Record Check. Volunteers associated with NLCC are not required to pay any fees. Volunteers can apply for a CRC two ways:

1. Request Online using the BC Services Card App

To apply online, applicants must use the BC Services Card App. Applicants will be prompted to either set-up or continue with the BC Services Card App. 

Complete the following to request a free Criminal Record Check online:

  1. Visit the BC Government's CRC site
  2. Enter the access code: S4WR3Y8B2W
  3. Follow the prompts
  4. Set-up or log in with your BC Services Card App
  5. Complete the questionnaire and submit

You're done! NLCC will receive the results in 2-3 weeks. 

2. Download Fillable CRC Request Form

If applicants are not from BC or have difficulty setting up the BC Services App:

  1. Download the Fillable CRC Request Form
  2. Print or complete digitally (Section 2 and Parts 1, 3, 4)
  3. Submit to the NLCC Office (office@nlcc.ca) and present 2 pieces of ID.

You're done! NLCC will submit the request and receive the results in 2-3 weeks.
