NLCC is excited to live out our value of being “A Church on our Knees”! Will you join us? We are going to start 2026 with an Abide night of worship and prayer, followed by a week of continuous, around-the-clock prayer from January 7 – 14.

The purpose of having a week of prayer is to help us:

  • Encounter God through prayer.
  • Deepen personal faith.
  • Foster community at NLCC as the 4 campuses pray for each other.
  • Encourage us to pray for our community, our nation and our global neighbours.

To make this happen, we invite individuals, couples, or small groups to sign up for a 1-hour time slot and pray at home, in one of our prayer rooms at Walnut Grove, Aldergrove, or Willowbrook, or anywhere you have space and feel comfortable praying. The prayer room at Walnut Grove will be set up with creative elements such as art supplies, journals, maps, and prayer boards to help us connect with God in various ways while we pray.

All of our prayer slots have been officially filled, but you are still welcome to choose an hour this week if you haven't signed up already, and pray alongside our church family! For some resources, outlines, and suggestions, check out our Prayer Week Resource document.
