Revelation Week 1: Do Not Be Afraid

In this first sermon of a new series we are introduced to the book of Revelation as an apocalypse—an unveiling meant to encourage persecuted believers by pulling back the curtain to reveal who truly reigns: Jesus Christ. Through John’s vision in Revelation 1, the church is invited to see Jesus in His full glory as the risen Lord, Great High Priest, Ancient of Days, and victorious King who walks among His churches, holds history in His hands, and has defeated death itself. Because Jesus is alive, sovereign, and near, believers today can live faithfully and fearlessly, confident that nothing today—or beyond—can separate them from His love or overturn His final victory.
