Revelation 19 shatters our expectation of how Jesus should bring His kingdom —
not through conquest, but through a robe already dipped in His own blood before any battle
is fought. Because His victory looks nothing like the kind we'd choose for ourselves, this
passage calls us to lay down the Jesus we've built in our minds and worship Him as He truly
is — through both grateful praise and honest lament, trusting that who He is, and what He
does or doesn't do, is always worthy of our Hallelujah.
