Let My Love Open The Door

Jesus’ message to the church in Laodicea contains both a harsh rebuke – I will spit you out! – and a beautiful promise – I will come in and eat with you. It’s a compassionate warning against disgusting lukewarmness that comes from compromise and apathy. To those who claim to have it all, Jesus reminds us of our need to come to him for what only he can give us by his grace.
