Elder Committees

We have 5 Elder led committees to help serve, lead, and provide specific oversight to different areas of governance here at NLCC. The committees are:

Discernment

The Discernment Committee helps discern and submit candidates recommended to join the Elder's Board, other Elder Committees, and various Ministry and Leadership positions that arise in the life of the church body.

Stewardship

The Stewardship Committee oversees the development of the annual budgets of the church, as well as other fiscal policies and financial items.

Personnel

The Personnel Committee develops and oversees policies related to staffing and employee management, as well as participate in pastoral staff selection.

Risk Management

The Risk Management Committee will annually review the Constitution, Bylaws, Operating Policies, and other policies of NLCC, including insurance coverage, and compliance with security and safety procedures.

Development

The Development Committee responds to facility expansion and renovation needs, as well as day to day facility issues.
